Preimium suite upgrade for galaxy note offers new S pen applications and Android 4.0

We all expected the Samsung Galaxy Note to receive Android 4.0 in Q1, but unfortunately the software upgrade has been pushed back to sometime in Q2. Thankfully this major upgraded dubbed “Premium Suite” will include a lot more than just Ice Cream Sandwich.

Today Samsung shared a video that detailed all the new things coming to the Galaxy Note. The Premium Suite upgrade offers exclusive S Pen applications, enhanced multimedia features, and an Android 4.0 upgrade as expected. It will also unlock 30 Danger Zone levels in the new Angry Birds Space game.

“With the Premium Suite upgrade, we wanted to add features that enrich users’ Note experience even more, including the great advantages of Android 4.0 and innovative applications for S Pen,” said JK Shin, President of Samsung Mobile. “We are committed to providing extraordinary experiences for consumers, and we will continue to provide new features and upgrades to enrich our offering.”

As most of these things go, the exact availability and scheduling of the Premium Suite upgrade will vary by country and wireless carrier. Check out the preview video below for an idea of what to expect when it finally arrives.

We're thrilled to announce that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be served to GALAXY S II users in the European countries including Poland, Hungary and Sweden, as well as Korea today, and gradually roll out to other markets.

ICS for GALAXY Note, GALAXY S II LTE, GALAXY Tab 8.9 and 10.1 will follow soon.

In addition, we'll also offer Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware upgrades for GALAXY S, GALAXY Tab 7", GALAXY S Plus, GALAXY S SCL (Super Clear LCD) and GALAXY W from end March. The firmware upgrades for GALAXY S, for example, include Face Unlock, Snapshot, Photo Editor, and others.

The availability and scheduling of the software update and specific models upgradeable to Android 4.0 will vary by market and wireless carriers' requirements.

Some people may have already got the ICS for there sensation (family) but has any noticed the little problem with HTC has got with some words. Aeroplan, it made us laugh about it when we saw it lol.

False twitter post about ICS update from Samsung

At some point yesterday Samsung confirmed that they would be pushing ICS as soon as today or tomorrow to find that someone has made a fake twitter account and that Samsung have not even confirmed anything to anyone, as this tweet was done HTC has now started to push the first ways of ICS on the sensation because they thought Samsung would be out so early.

Samsung have said that they will be confirming on both Facebook and twittering about the ICS update and it is going to pushed out

The new Google play store

Google announced yesterday that the android market has been changed from android market to Google play market (app called: play shop)

Good news if you’re on Orange with a Desire HD, it appears that Android 2.3.5 is rolling out to with Sense 3.0.
